SF Lens Pro does NOT collect, sell, store, or transmit your Salesforce org data, credentials, or session cookies to external servers.
1. Core privacy commitment
SF Lens Pro is designed to operate locally in your browser. Salesforce API requests initiated by extension features travel directly between your browser and the Salesforce instance where you are already authenticated. We do not operate an intermediary service that receives your org records, credentials, session identifiers, query results, metadata, or error details.
2. Single purpose
The extension's single purpose is to provide Salesforce developers, administrators, and architects with local browser tools for inspecting records, querying authorized Salesforce APIs, explaining supported development errors, managing metadata, exporting user-requested data, and managing local Salesforce sessions.
3. Chrome permissions
SF Lens Pro requests only permissions needed to deliver that single purpose:
4. Information collection, use, and sharing
Salesforce information
We do not collect or retain Salesforce records, metadata, passwords, OAuth credentials, session cookies, query text, query results, exported files, source code, stack traces, org identifiers, or user identity data. We do not sell, rent, transfer, or use such information for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or any unrelated purpose.
Local extension data
Preferences and recent interface settings may be stored through Chrome's local extension storage on your device. You can remove this data by clearing the extension's storage or uninstalling the extension. Exported CSV and JSON files are saved only to the destination you select through Chrome.
Third parties and remote code
SF Lens Pro does not transmit Salesforce information to advertising networks, analytics providers, data brokers, or AI providers. The extension does not execute remotely hosted code. If you choose to copy an error prompt into a third-party AI product, that later disclosure is initiated by you and governed by that product's privacy terms.
Security
The extension relies on your existing Salesforce authentication and permissions. It does not bypass Salesforce sharing rules, object permissions, field permissions, or API authorization. Local API communication uses Salesforce's HTTPS endpoints.
5. GDPR and CCPA
Because SF Lens Pro does not collect or maintain personal information on its servers, it generally has no server-side personal data to access, correct, delete, port, or disclose. Under the GDPR, we do not process Salesforce org data as a controller or processor through external infrastructure. Under the CCPA/CPRA, we do not sell or share personal information and have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding 12 months.
If you contact support, we use the contact information and message you voluntarily provide only to answer your request. You may request access or deletion by emailing the address below. We do not discriminate against users who exercise privacy rights.
6. Salesforce enterprise data security
Your Salesforce data remains subject to your organization's Salesforce security controls, contractual requirements, connected-device policies, and user permissions. Administrators should review extension permissions and approve installation under their own enterprise policies. SF Lens Pro is not a substitute for Salesforce security configuration, audit controls, or data-loss prevention.
7. Children's privacy
SF Lens Pro is a professional developer and administration tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when extension capabilities, permission usage, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be revised, and material changes will be communicated through this page or the Chrome Web Store listing.
